The opportunity
We are seeking a skilled individual to join our Technical Styling team. The role involves providing expert guidance and support to students and staff in styling and production practices, contributing to academic activities within the College. Key responsibilities include offering training and instruction in advanced styling techniques, such as still life, editorial, and commercial styling, as well as art direction for fashion photoshoots. Additionally, the role involves giving critical feedback on student projects, contributing to their creative development, and participating in formative assessments to ensure alignment with course objectives.

About you
Bachelor’s degree in fashion design, visual merchandising, or related field, or equivalent industry experience.
Expertise in sourcing clothes, props, models, and collaborating with model agencies.
Strong knowledge of fashion trends, color schemes, and design principles.
Proficiency in styling tools and software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and aesthetics.
Effective communication and collaboration skills; ability to work independently and in teams.
Familiarity with production processes and relevant Health and Safety legislation.
Desirable experience in still life, editorial, and commercial styling.
Experience in planning and organizing fashion photoshoots, including concept development and art direction. Teaching experience is desirable.
