The opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Marketing and Communications team for Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon Colleges of Arts, three of the six UAL colleges. The role will involve working both onsite and remotely. The ratio of onsite vs remote working varies according to peak event times in the student recruitment cycle.

The role will assist the Student Marketing Managers to ensure the smooth running of open days, offer holders and frequent campus tours. Our events currently take place both onsite and online to ensure we can reach a wider prospective student audience in the UK and Internationally. Key tasks include assisting with the planning and publishing of events on the website and Zoom, sorting booking and attendance data, assist with the recruitment and training of student ambassadors and oversee the running of the monthly campus tours.

Alongside events, the role will work closely with the Campaigns and Enquiries Assistant, sharing the responsibility of responding to enquiries via email and phone, whilst ensuring enquirers are dealt with in a professional, timely and effective manner whilst ensuring all collection of data complies with GDPR and UAL protocols.

About you

As the first point of contact for prospective student enquiries you’ll possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, you can clearly communicate with everyone including prospective students, academic and technical staff. You are approachable and enjoy working at events, you have a can-do attitude and thrive in a busy environment.

You will need to be highly organised and able to work on multiple concurrent tasks as both a team player and when working independently.

Strong organisational and administrative skills and the ability to prioritise will be necessary as will be the ability to take on ad hoc tasks with a professional approach, remaining calm and assured under pressure.

You are confident working with the full suite of software involved in administration including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience in adobe suite is also desirable for resizing images.

Ideally you will have an interest and/or experience within the arts or education sector, and have an eagerness to learn about the courses on offer at Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon College of Arts.
