The opportunity

This is an exciting time to join the expanding costume community at Wimbledon College of Arts within the BA Costume for Theatre and Screen course. We are offering two, full-time posts, for two candidates to year-lead, years 2 and 3 at undergraduate level.

The BA Costume for Theatre and Screen course builds upon the international reputation the College has for delivering costume education and is listed in the Hollywood Reporter as one of the top 10 courses globally to study costume.

Successful candidates will work closely the BA Course Leader and staff, as either a Year 2, or a Year 3 Leader, to deliver an inspiring student experience at undergraduate level. They will be aware of both design and interpretation skills within costume, be able to innovate within the course, and possess a good overview as to how identify different modes of delivery. 

About you

With a relevant degree in a costume related subject, you’ll have previous experience of teaching costume at higher education level. The ideal candidate will have experience of managing and developing curriculum that enhances the student experience.

Applicants will have strong skills in costume production management, be able to evaluate the study of costume within the professional discipline and higher education and will use innovative approaches to researching and making.

You’ll be a generous, flexible team member with the ability to work with a variety of staff in different roles.
