The opportunity

Do you want to further your HR career within a world-renowned organisation? 

UAL is seeking a HR Adviser to play a key role in our ASK HR team. If you’re passionate about HR and the employee lifecycle, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

As a HR Adviser, you will support the ASK HR team to ensure that UAL acts as a good employer and meets all of its relevant obligations. 

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Providing advice, coaching, and guidance to individuals to resolve routine and more complex HR related issues
  • The administration of UAL’s People policies, procedures and programmes
  • Supporting the employee onboarding process
  • HR administration e.g. Payroll and contractual changes, iTrent administration
  • Maintaining employee files and records
  • Supporting colleagues within the People Strategy hub in the development of People programmes and frameworks
  • Gathering and analysing data with useful HR and business metrics and producing written reports.

 

About you

A broad range of HR knowledge and experience of managing key aspects of the employee life cycle is essential, as is experience of working within an HR Operations, ‘Shared Service’ or Helpdesk environment. 

Proven experience of providing professional advice and guidance to employees at all levels is equally important. 

Experience of working in the HE sector is desirable but not essential.
