The opportunity
Are you passionate about marketing and eager to make a significant impact at a leading higher education institution? Central Saint Martins (CSM) is seeking an experienced Marketing Officer to influence and drive our student marketing activities, helping us achieve the priorities set out in our Student Marketing and Recruitment strategy.
In this role, you will work on and influence the student marketing activities of CSM to increase applications, with a specific focus on diversity. You will collaborate with the Student Marketing Manager to ensure an effective and agile approach to student marketing and conversion activities. This includes coordinating closely with the CSM External Relations Team and the Editorial Manager to ensure all student marketing campaigns align with the broader College communications strategy.
The role is varied and will include planning advertising campaigns, managing the collation and sending of promotional e-communications to prospective students and applicants, copywriting and editing, and producing marketing materials tailored to the needs of a diverse range of prospective students.
About you

• Educated to degree level or equivalent in an appropriate discipline
• Knowledge of art and design, creative arts in Higher Education and the creative and cultural industries
• Experience of managing a range of marketing projects with minimum supervision
• Skilled in engaging key audiences, including the local community or wider public through excellent written content
• Experience of the education, arts, creative and/or not-for-profit sectors
• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively
• Experience of working collaboratively with communication, marketing, digital and/or academic colleagues
