The opportunity

UAL is looking for an Internal Communications Executive.

Working in University of the Arts London’s (UAL) central internal communications team, you will engage our staff community of over 6,000 colleagues across 6 Colleges and 4 Institutes to champion our social purpose values and deliver UAL’s ten-year strategy.

You will coordinate and deliver integrated communications about UAL’s internal and strategic activities across key channels, identifying story opportunities and promoting strategic change initiatives.

You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and partner with teams across UAL, from our People Group to our Social Purpose Lab, to consult and deliver communication plans that connect our communities to our vision and celebrate successes of our staff and students.

Your expertise will be instrumental in fostering a culture of transparent, informative and inclusive communications, enabling our colleagues to understand the University’s direction and how their own work contributes to UAL’s success.

About you

You will have:

  • Experience of managing internal digital communication channels such as an employee intranet or newsletter.
  • Experience of advising senior leaders and stakeholders to consult and deliver communication plans.
  • Able to write, script and commission high-quality and visually impactful communication materials in a variety of formats, including editorial and video.
