The opportunity
The degrees we offer in the Performance Programme at Central Saint Martin’s College encourage practitioners, activists, and creative thinkers in expanding and diverging fields. The role of Stage Leader for BA Performance: Design and Practice offers a unique opportunity to join a diverse team of creative practitioners, educators and researchers in theatre, performance, art, and film and to participate in the creative, intellectual and organization life of the Programme, School and College.
About you
We seek applications from educators and practitioners in performance and design to lead a year group and to contribute to all three years of undergraduate course delivery. In particular we are keen to hear from applicants who are experienced and interested in developing their teaching in design for performance. This is a course management role, and the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate strong and well tested organizational skills within the context of Higher Education or similar. They must be passionate about practices of performance and design, and the possibilities for creative collaboration that surround their discipline. You should be able to evidence teaching, and an engagement in teamwork and co-operative practices. We seek someone with experience in relationship building, and enhancement of the students’ experience. It is essential that candidates are able demonstrate their commitment to equal opportunities and inclusive pedagogic practices.
