The opportunity

Are you passionate about fostering a more inclusive and diverse academic environment? If so, join our forward-thinking team at Central Saint Martins (CSM) as the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Project Manager.

In this pivotal role, you will oversee a range of action plans aimed at creating a more equitable, diverse, and inclusive atmosphere within our college.

Your responsibilities will include improving recruitment processes to enhance representation of Black, Asian, and minority ethnic staff, supporting the development of teaching and learning enhancements, and contributing to the decolonisation of curricula. You’ll work closely with various stakeholders, including the UAL EDI team, to ensure our initiatives are data-driven and impactful.

About you

We are looking for a proactive and experienced professional with a strong background in leading EDI initiatives and managing complex projects using a data-driven approach.

You should possess a deep understanding of the Equality Act 2010, including positive action and equality impact assessments, and have experience working with both quantitative and qualitative data.

Your ability to communicate effectively with a diverse audience, deliver training, and conduct consultations will be crucial. Additionally, you should be skilled in problem-solving, planning, and managing resources to achieve long-term objectives.
