The opportunity

Do you have a passion for driving organisational growth and developing staff potential? Join us in this key leadership role as the Organisation Development and Staff Development (OD/SD) Lead.

This role will place you at the helm of a dedicated team, ensuring the delivery of exemplary programmes, consultancy services, and OD projects that align with the University’s strategic goals.

Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing strategic staff development initiatives, leading on organisational development projects such as the annual staff survey and apprenticeship programmes, and creating bespoke management and leadership training.

You will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure that our OD and SD interventions are inclusive, data-driven, and effectively meet the needs of our diverse staff and student body.

About you

We are looking for an experienced and accredited OD/SD practitioner with a strong commitment to diversity, inclusion, and anti-racism. You should have a proven track record of developing and delivering strategic OD/SD initiatives, with the ability to influence and inspire senior leaders and managers.

Your expertise in presenting to senior audiences, authoring reports, and managing stakeholder relationships will be essential. As a leader, you will bring experience in line management and a collaborative approach to working within a team.

An understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within the higher education sector is crucial, along with the ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
