The opportunity

University of the Arts London is a vibrant world centre for innovation, drawing together six colleges with international reputations in art, design, fashion, communication and performing arts. Supporting world leading centres for creative communications, art and design education, the Quality Team is central to the University’s endeavours for maintaining the highest standards in the delivery of its innovative courses. Your contribution will directly influence the high level of service UAL offers its students and staff. 

As part of the Quality Team based at Chelsea College of Arts you will provide advice and support to staff engaged in Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon College’s quality assurance and enhancement procedures. This means supporting course validation, review and modification, annual course monitoring, assisting with quality reviews, external examiner appointments; acting as secretary to working groups and committees as appropriate and working with the team to quality assure student facing documentation throughout the year. 

About you

Educated to a minimum undergraduate degree level or with equivalent relevant experience, you will have experience of quality assurance in Higher Education. You will possess strong communication skills and be able to quickly build strong working relationships with academic and administrative colleagues. You will have excellent organisation skills supported by strong IT and written skills; being able to take notes and draft clear, concise documents and committee minutes is essential. You will need to be self-motivated with an eye for detail and a commitment to improving education and the student experience.
