The opportunity

Located in the new development in Kings Cross, Central Saint Martins is a world-renowned facility alive with different ways of thinking, making and doing. The successful applicant will join the CSM Events team, delivering an extensive public programme boasting a wide variety of events with an annual footfall of 80,000 external visitors. You will work within a diverse environment, liaising with multiple departments, delivering briefings, making schedules and providing high end customer experience to deliver events to an exceptional standard both to internal and external stakeholders.

About you

With a demonstrable background in events management, you will have a passion for excellent customer service and as part of your remit be responsible for front-of-house staff, including external clients and contractors and the reception team. You will be passionate about people, training and teamwork. This post will require flexible working including evenings and weekends. You must have excellent orgnaisational skills, being able to manage your own work schedule and assist in creating schedules and rotas for the team. You will have exceptional communication skills, effectively liaising with a variety of departments and groups to keep all relevant parties and stakeholders up to date with key information. Previous experience working in Higher Education is not compulsory but relevant experience working in large institutions, collaborating with various departments and stakeholders is desirable.
