The opportunity
As a Course Leader BA (Hons) Fashion Design and Development you will be joining the Product Programme Team to lead one of the five specialist courses in our cluster of industry-focused design disciplines where form and function meet. Students on this course are encouraged to adopt a broad approach to the constantly evolving fashion industry landscape and you will be instrumental in helping them make that happen.

About you
We are looking for a dynamic, highly skilled and experienced academic practitioner to join the LCF BA Fashion Design and Development course as an Acting Course Leader (fixed term to 1st Dec 2024). You will play a key role undertaking teaching, assessment, and curriculum development, managing resources and people related to the course. You will work closely with colleagues from the Programme, Academic Support, Student Services and the college community. You will need to have an in-depth understanding and personal experience of teaching and facilitating creative practices in the fashion design discipline. Both design and technical pattern cutting expertise are desirable.
