The opportunity

Based at London College of Communication, working with the Assistant Head of Course Support, the Course Support Manager will lead and inspire a team of Course Support Administrators to deliver excellent academic administration and customer service. This will be delivered principally through the management and provision of administrative support functions for a specified portfolio of courses, in accordance with the procedures and regulations of UAL. 

This is a wide-ranging role and as Course Support Manager you will build and maintain strong working relationships with course teams and wider support functions within your college and across the University. Typical tasks will include overseeing communication, monitoring student attendance, overseeing Hourly Paid Lecturer contract requests, and populating content across digital channels such as Moodle. 

Please note that the successful candidate will be expected to work 4 days on-site during term time.

About you

This role requires a good understanding of, and a strong commitment to, delivering excellent customer service. A working knowledge of academic administration processes and policies is required so candidates are likely to stem from the Higher Education sector, but similar educational environments will also be considered. In your application you will also need to evidence the ability to manage positive working relationships along with good communication and leadership skills, including motivating teams and managing performance.
