The opportunity

We are looking for associate lecturers to join the Design School at LCC, working across undergraduate and postgraduate levels in courses across the school including subjects such as design studies, design history, graphic design, interaction design, branding, user experience design graphic design and animation in practice, theory and research. Your main responsibility will be preparation, teaching, administration and assessment of a unit or part of a unit. You will make a significant contribution to the quality of learning and support our students receive in order to enable them to complete their studies successfully.

You will work closely with other academic staff, including the Programme Directors and Course Leaders in the school.

About you

We are looking for dynamic and ambitious educators to join the School in working to deliver teaching, assessment and other learning tasks. In the global context of massive social and ecological change we are looking for engaged designers or creatives who are interested in working within the university to challenge, provoke, question as well as support and educate. You should have some experience in design education, though as an entry-position we are excited to meet people looking to start their career in education. The university is actively engaged in industry-facing as well as social projects so you will be able to demonstrate a commitment to broadening the experience of students.
