The opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced recruiter to play a key role in the implementation of University of the Arts London’s (UAL) student recruitment strategy for three of UAL’s colleges: Camberwell College of Arts, Chelsea College of Arts and Wimbledon College of Arts

As Head of College Student Recruitment for three UAL colleges, you will facilitate a joined-up and strategic approach to our student recruitment function, leading, implementing and developing a strategy that will help our three colleges to meet student recruitment intake targets, from both home and overseas.

Working closely with key college stakeholders and the UAL Student, Marketing and Recruitment team, you will monitor and report progress, whilst evaluating the impact of our current strategy. You will utilise key data to inform future strategies that best fit the selection process for each course within our portfolio, identifying and addressing any shortcomings or barriers in the admissions process.

Your work will help to ensure a smooth applicant journey from application to selection, streamlining a process that will benefit future students who wish to study at UAL.

About you

Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will possess significant student recruitment experience within a higher educational context, working across both home and international markets. You will also pair this with additional experience of working in a target driven environment, creating, analysing and interpreting data and markets to produce relevant reports.

You will need excellent leadership skills, with experience of managing teams and the ability to motivate others towards clear objectives. Strong analytical, communication and organisational skills are also essential.

Should you have any questions about the role, please contact Charlotte Coleman, Director of College Administration Camberwell, Chelsea, Wimbledon / c.coleman@arts.ac.uk.

Should you have any questions about the application process or require reasonable adjustments for your application, please contact Christine Crouch, Resourcing Advisor / jobs.ccw@arts.ac.uk.
