The opportunity

Join our Student Systems and Records team and play a key role overseeing the technical support provided to users of our student records systems (SITS).
The role
As Student Records Team Manager you will be responsible for managing a team of administrators who provide systems support to users of the UAL student system (SITS) and its associated applications.
The team is responsible for assisting with the administration that underpins the student lifecycle and overseeing the correct and efficient use of systems and investigating technical issues.
As a source of expertise in the use of SITS, its data structures and functionality, your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the delivery of a high quality and customer focussed technical support function for SITS users (staff, students and applicants)
- Managing resources accordingly to support the student lifecycle
- Managing the use of the ticketing system to analyse the performance of the service and make recommendations for enhancements
- Recruitment, training and appraisals of the team
We offer a hybrid working model, allowing you to work 50% of the time on campus at our High Holborn location and 50% working from home.
About you
To be considered for this role, you will need the following:
- Knowledge of the Higher Education sector and the student lifecycle
- Knowledge and experience of supporting student records systems (SITS experience is essential)
- Experience in system administration in an HE environment
- Experience of reporting systems and data quality control processes
Management experience is desirable, but not essential.
