Join our dynamic team at London College of Fashion situated in UAL East as a College Research and Knowledge Exchange Coordinator! Are you passionate about fostering innovative research practices and facilitating impactful knowledge exchange initiatives? As part of our collaborative environment, you’ll work closely with the Dean of Research and Knowledge Exchange to coordinate and deliver a diverse range of activities, from East End focussed community workshops to international conferences. Your role will not only contribute to the advancement of research within the college but also engage creatively with external communities, aligning with our commitment to social purpose. About you

The ideal candidate for the College Research and Knowledge Exchange Coordinator role will be community minded, with knowledge, interest, and a passion for working with creative practitioners and researchers. You will possess a diverse skill set, including an appreciation of research practices, exceptional organizational abilities, and strong communication skills. Reporting to the Dean of Research and Knowledge Exchange, you will coordinate and deliver various activities, ranging from community workshops to international conference events, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving and fostering positive relationships with stakeholders. Proficiency in financial processes, data management, and content creation is crucial, as is the ability to work collaboratively within the research team and engage with internal and external stakeholders effectively. Experience in line management and resource allocation is desirable, alongside a commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion, and aligning with the University’s Climate Action Plan and Social Purpose Strategy.
