The opportunity

As the Senior Finance Business Partner for LCF you will be responsible for the financial planning, financial reporting, and analysis together with the college finance operations.  Supporting the LCF College Management team, the postholder will play a key role in strategic decision-making within the College and provide financial analysis to monitor the delivery of the University’s strategic objectives.

The successful candidate will work closely with their peer group in the other colleges and in professional services to align reporting, processes and drive change, as well as lead and manage the LCF college finance team, ensuring the provision of accurate and timely financial information and delivery of a professional service to a wide range of stakeholders.

About you

The successful person will have:

  • Qualified with a recognised Accounting Body (ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW or equivalent)
  • Experience of business partnering at a senior level, working with large data sets to lead the financial planning and budget setting, preparing information for senior management to ensure informed decision making in a large, fast paced complex organisation.
  • Experience of providing leadership and management of a finance team to deliver continued improvement and change.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information in a range of formats to a diverse audience.
  • Advanced Excel and IT skills. Experience with Agresso Business World/ Excelerator is highly desirable
  • Experience of working for higher education sector is desirable, but this is not essential
