The opportunity

As Centre Monitoring & Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing Approved Centre quality assurance processes, including the Centre Risk Model and associated sanctions policy. This encompasses the recording and monitoring of centre, quality and academic risk factors, along with the annual monitoring process.

You will manage investigations, working with other teams to ensure issues are corrected, and supportive and realistic action plans are implemented and monitored. You will work closely with the Academic Standards team to improve the quality of provision at our approved centres, which may result in complex investigations that must be meticulously investigated. Diligent record keeping is central to this role.

This role is essential in ensuring UAL approved centres are compliant with the Conditions of Recognition of Ofqual, Qualifications Wales and CCEA. In addition to this, you will support with the annual self-evaluation of all processes across the awarding body to ensure compliance.

About you

You must possess experience of quality assurance and working within a regulatory framework, as well as experience of presenting technical information to all staff levels, utilising your excellent persuasion and negotiation skills.

You are a hardworking, highly organised and a skilled problem solver, motivated by meeting deadlines, completing work to a high standard and developing others. You will be able to work independently with accuracy and attention to detail, managing your own time effectively.

You will excel at analysing and presenting complex information, but will also be a collaborative, supportive and a strong team player. You will have experience of leading/managing investigations in centre compliance.
