The opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced exhibition logistics and build Manager to play a key role in the operational delivery of projects, exhibitions, showcases and productions at Camberwell, Chelsea, Wimbledon Colleges of Art.

You will contribute to the successful delivery of technical and production aspects of a variety of student projects, exhibitions, showcases and productions, such as SHOW, which is our largest final show during the summer and other defined projects, student exhibitions and performance events.

Leading a small team and directing any external contractors, you will work closely with key stakeholders, and you will be integral to the successful facilitation and management of the build and installation of complex creative projects.

You will ensure your expertise and professionalism is passed onto our students, embedding a culture of safe and best working practice and ensuring a kind and inclusive environment. You and your team will be the standard we want the students to achieve as they work alongside you to imagine, plan, and deliver their own work through our programmes of activity.

About you

Extensive knowledge of show builds and temporary structures, and exhibition and artwork installation and handling is essential. You will need excellent communication, people, and time management skills and awareness of best health and safety practices.

You will also need competency in using digital build-planning tools such as Vectorworks, Sketch Up, and CAD.
