Are you looking to kickstart your career in the interesting world of Procurement? UAL is offering an incredible opportunity to become a Procurement Officer (Apprentice) and gain valuable skills while working towards a recognised qualification. You will study the Procurement and Supply Assistant Level 3 apprenticeship, which will equip you with the knowledge, expertise, and practical experience needed to excel in your role and pave the way for future career progression.
Reporting to the Senior Category Manager, the Procurement Officer (Apprentice) will support the procurement team in a wide range of procurement activities across the University. This may include, but not limited to working on procurement reports, assisting in tender activities, working with internal and external stakeholders supporting culture of best practice principles for purchasing and assist with keeping to the University accreditations and ethical commitments.
About you
To be eligible for this apprenticeship, you should not have any prior procurement related qualifications, but you will need to hold a Level 3 qualification in any other subject and Maths and English GCSE’s A-C / 9-4 (or equivalent) and a genuine interest in procurement is essential.
