This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR practitioner to advance their HR career within a world leading organisation and play a key role driving the delivery of strategic people priorities.

The London College of Fashion (LCF) has recently relocated to a purpose built campus at East Bank, Stratford. As the HR Business Partner for the London College of Fashion, you will lead on business partnering work within the College and support the leadership and management of the people management agenda. You will work collaboratively with other UAL colleagues on the delivery of UAL’s commitments to the London Legacy Development Corporation in relation to LCF East Bank and form valued relationships with UAL’s external East Bank partners.

You will be required to build strong and effective working relationships with the College Executive Group and work closely with the LCF Head of College to focus on:

  • Organisational and people capability building
  • Longer term resource planning and the introduction of Apprenticeships
  • Succession management planning
  • Using business insights to drive change in people management practices
  • Leading and advising on the people implications of organisational change

You will be expected to quickly grasp the unique challenges and opportunities at LCF. Additionally, you will offer advice, coaching and support to less experienced colleagues.

As well as being CIPD qualified (MCIPD), you will possess a working knowledge of contemporary approaches to Business Planning, Organisational Design, Workforce Planning, Strategic Resourcing, Capability Management and Change Management.

You should have experience of working as an HR business partner in a large organisation, with experience of leading change, workforce planning, and strategic resource planning. A high level of coaching skills and the ability to coach senior leaders is equally important.
