The opportunity

London College of Fashion (LCF) is looking for three Postgraduate College Admissions Tutors; one for each of our three schools to manage our postgraduate applications.

Working closely with course teams you will oversee, co-ordinate and support the academic decision-making process, reviewing and assessing applications across the portfolio of taught postgraduate courses in your school.

You will monitor achievement of targets and liaise closely with central UAL recruitment teams and college management teams.  You will also support the college student recruitment team with events and presentations to promote postgraduate study.  Whilst your focus will be on postgraduate study, you will be expected to support undergraduate study at key points in the recruitment cycle.

There will also be an opportunity to undertake a small amount of teaching as appropriate to your areas of expertise.

We offer a breadth of courses that focus on design and innovation through make, using traditional and new technologies.

If you have any questions about the role, please contact recruiting manager Claudine Rousseau at c.rousseau@fashion.arts.ac.uk.

If you have any queries about the application process or need any reasonable adjustments for your application, please contact the Resourcing Team at vacancies@fashion.arts.ac.uk

About you

You will be a well-qualified individual with an undergraduate and higher degree in a subject relevant to the disciplines of your chosen school

You will pair this with experience of teaching and assessment in a higher education environment and will ideally hold a teaching qualification (PG Cert or equivalent).

Experience of making appropriate admissions decisions based on a review of application forms and portfolios of student work, is essential.

You will have strong team working skills as well as the ability to plan, prioritise and manage resources effectively to achieve key objectives.  You will enjoy collaborative team working, process innovation, attention to detail and most importantly be focussed on excellent student experience.
