The opportunity

University of the Arts London is looking for a Professional Development Administrator to join our Academic Practice team in the Teaching, Learning and Employability Exchange.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Academic Practice programme and the Professional Recognition programme. You will clerk for programme committee meetings and other Academic Practice meetings as necessary, and will also undertake record-keeping, minute taking, event and training administration duties.

You will also be responsible for providing administrative support for academic journals.

The working pattern for this role is Mondays and Tuesdays, 7 hours per day.

About you

Educated to A ‘Level standard or equivalent, we expect you to be familiar with the use of databases, Microsoft Office applications and the production of correspondence.

You will also be highly organised and a skilled problem solver. Crucially, you will be skilled in committee servicing, and will be capable of booking rooms across multiple sites.

A supportive and customer-focused individual, you will have strong communication skills both in person and in writing.
