The opportunity

The Cosmetic Science area at London College of Fashion is renowned for its specialist educational offer, which includes a unique course in the UK – integrated MSc Cosmetic Science.

Currently, there is an opening for Specialist Cosmetic Science Technician (Learning and Teaching). As a key member of our course team, you will provide support for student learning and to take responsibility for the day to day running of the Cosmetic Science Laboratories. You will ensure compliance with health and safety standards and contribute to the continuous enhancement of our service delivery. Your dedication to fostering a creative learning environment and your ability to navigate complex technical challenges will be essential.

About you

The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in cosmetic science and educational / training background, holding a degree in Science and boasting practical experience in product formulation would help you to meet requirements for this challenging, but fulfilling role.

In addition to your science background and formulation experience, you will ideally possess strong IT skills, excellent planning and time management skills, have experience with the upkeep of scientific equipment and be able to communicates effectively orally, in writing and/or using visual media. This role requires a dedicated commitment to ensuring safety, service excellence, and continuous improvement in laboratory operations. The successful candidate will actively contribute to curriculum development and research activities.
