The opportunity

Are you a highly organised and efficient administrator ready to further your career within financial operations? UAL’s Teaching, Learning and Employability Exchange (TLE) are looking for a talented individual to join the team and provide essential support, ensuring the seamless operation of administrative processes.

The purpose of the TLE Exchange is to enhance the student experience through the transformation of teaching, learning and careers education in partnership with staff and students.

As the Business Operations Administrator, you will play a vital role in taking responsibility for the full spectrum of the TLE’s financial administration, which includes managing order processing, overseeing invoice handling, and handling credit card payments. Moreover, you’ll collaborate closely with department heads to offer invaluable budgetary support, providing guidance on issues, changes, and opportunities for improvement. Your role will also extend to resource management, taking the lead in procuring and monitoring digital equipment to meet the department’s needs.

About you

You will possess a relevant degree or equivalent relevant experience. You should hold a strong background in office administration and have a demonstrable track record of working with sales and purchase ledgers. Experience with ABW (Agresso – Unit 4 Business World) would be a plus.

Effective communication skills are essential and you should be comfortable in planning, prioritising, and organising your own work. Collaboration is key, and you should thrive working within a team and, when necessary, with diverse professional groups.
