The opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen to help contribute to the excellence of research at the University and to perform a key role in supporting our commitment to ensuring the highest standards of research ethics.  The Research Ethics Administrator will provide a comprehensive and efficient administrative service to support the University’s processes for ethics review of research and knowledge exchange projects.  The post holder will be a key point of contact for researchers applying for ethics review and will play an important role in maintaining best practice in the ethics review of research and knowledge exchange projects, and compliance with funder, policy and legislative requirements in relation to good practice in research and knowledge exchange.  The post holder will have excellent organisational and communication skills, proficient administrative competencies and the ability to build relationships with a range of people across the University.

About you

You will have an undergraduate degree, or equivalent experience, and will have significant experience of providing administrative support for committees.  High level knowledge and competencies in MS Office packages and systems are essential, along with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
