The opportunity

The role of the Internal Communications Officer is pivotal within Internal and External Relations as an internal ‘roving reporter’ – being actively involved to research, facilitate, disseminate, and track new content for our staff and student audiences across the internal channels and LCF Stories (our blog). They work closely with the Internal Communications Manager and Internal Communities Manager to create the best content for LCF staff and students and assist with planning this editorially across internal channels.

The role includes writing, acquiring factual information for operational comms, scheduling weekly and monthly newsletters, creative content creation for digital screens and maintaining content management systems.

About you

You will be a very proactive, hands-on person, able to find innovative ways to use content to engage with staff and students, and someone ready to be present in person to help reach different communities at LCF. You will be an excellent planner, able to work on many projects at once, with different members of the department in different formats such as writing and image work and for different channels. You will be a creative team player, contributing ideas in meetings, and a good listener, actively taking on board feedback to ensure our internal communications campaigns resonate with our staff and students.
