The opportunity

This is an important administrative role located in the team responsible for managing and organising LCC’s international engagement and partnerships – work which adds significant value to the College’s teaching and learning, recruitment, research and knowledge exchange activity and enhances our global reputation.

This varied role is key to supporting team members, building and managing partnerships with similar, like-minded organisations around the world. You will provide high quality administrative assistance across a range of different areas including budget administration, project support and scoping, travel bookings, as well as day-to-day record maintenance and housekeeping. The role will involve regular working with teams across the University (including Finance and other international teams) as well as liaising with academic colleagues, students and partner universities.

About you

We are looking for an experienced, pro-active and motivated administrator comfortable in delivering high-quality, detail orientated support across a range of different areas of work. You will:

  • Be able to demonstrate the ability to multi-task, organise and prioritise tasks
  • Need excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Have plenty of initiative and must be able to self-motivate
  • Be able to combine working with minimal supervision with working collaboratively across and within different teams

The post-holder will also need a high level of cultural awareness and enjoy working with a variety of people from different backgrounds. We are committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments for all staff and students to work and learn and where we can be ourselves and reach our full potential. We particularly encourage applications from B.A.M.E. candidates, who are currently under-represented within the University.

If you have any queries about this role or need any reasonable adjustments for your application, please contact Lesley Wilkins, Senior Resourcing Adviser, lcc.jobs@lcc.arts.ac.uk or telephone: 020 7514 7985
