The opportunity
University of the Arts London is looking for a skilled professional to join our team as a Public Programme Administrator on a fixed-term basis at Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon Colleges of Arts (CCW).
You’ll provide an excellent public events and exhibitions service across CCW, operating as a single point of contact for all internal and external enquiries across the Colleges. This will involve developing and maintaining an internal public programme and events clash calendar, whilst working to implement procedures that support effective decision making that enables events and exhibitions to proceed smoothly.
You’ll use your strong interpersonal skills to provide an excellent customer service to internal and external clients, as well as to liaise and communicate with relevant internal teams on events and exhibitions delivery. You’ll support the public engagement team and work on the public programme where required, as well as providing additional administrative duties, such as report writing and data capture.
About you
You’re a highly organised individual, who is capable of developing and implementing administrative processes and procedures effectively. With a high level of competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, you’ll be confident in your ability to use your initiative to solve day-to-day problems.
You’ll possess strong communication skills and will be capable of adapting your communication style depending on the audience and medium. The ability to build and maintain positive relationships with staff, students and other stakeholders is essential, as well as the skills and expertise to provide an excellent customer service.
Experience in higher education or the public sector, as well as an interest in public engagement and programming is desirable but not essential.
Interviews are scheduled to take place on the 11th and 13th October 2023.
Should you have any questions about the post, please contact Ruth Lie, Public Programme Manager r.lie@arts.ac.uk
Should you have any questions about the application process or require reasonable adjustments for your application, please contact Adrienne Marsh at jobs.ccw@arts.ac.uk
