The opportunity

This is a key role within the International Team at London College of Fashion (LCF), where you will be responsible for the management and administration of the College’s exchange programmes, both short and long-term. You will be the key contact point within LCF for exchange partners, manging the relationship with key universities around the world, as well as working directly with students who are going abroad. You will also be involved in the development of innovative new global experiences and international projects, with a view to widening access and opportunity to all UAL students. 

Key responsibilities include: 
•    Mobility Management – Manage the student exchange cycle for both incoming and outgoing students at LCF; maintain database of exchange and global experience activities, ensuring in/outbound balances are carefully tracked; act as key contact point for all LCF students interested in participating in a global experience.
•    Partnership Development – Liaise with global exchanges partners, negotiating student numbers and ensuring these relationships are carefully managed and nurtured; coordinate administrative procedures for other types of international project work, reporting regularly to Director of International at LCF on both quantitative and qualitative aspects of these projects. 
•    Project Coordination – Providing comprehensive project management for identified international projects, supporting the Director of International at LCF to ensure key deliverables are met.

About you

You will be dedicated to student education and have an interest in working in the international sector and supporting students in gaining global experiences. 

You will ideally have a working knowledge of mobility programmes and working with global partners, as well as experience of administrative processes requiring high levels of attention to detail. You will have excellent customer service experience, preferably working with students directly. Experience of developing new international partnerships at HE level is desirable. Previous experience working in an international department or setting and/or partnership development work is advantageous. 

You will have excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to plan and prioritise effectively and work collaboratively with various internal and external stakeholders. 

With an ability to use your own initiative, you will possess the skills to problem solve day to day issues, escalating issues as needed.
