The opportunity

The post-holder will support delivery of a first-class prospective student enquiry service for UAL, working as part of a frontline team to provide accurate and timely information and guidance to pre and post application enquirers. They will use a variety of relevant tools/channels (e.g. soft phones, Livechat, CRM systems, student record system, email) to support their work, and will contribute to the development of processes, frameworks, policies and guidance in relation to enquiry management.

The Applicant Relations Adviser will work closely with colleagues across Student Marketing, Recruitment and Admissions (SMRA), Colleges and other departments, building the knowledge required to manage/triage a wide range of prospective student enquiries from home and international students and using this knowledge to improve responses/information provision to applicants/enquirers.  They will bring a high level of customer focus to their work to support the provision of an excellent prospective student journey and to help improve conversion from enquiry, through application and offer, to enrolment.

About you

  • Educated to A-level or equivalent
  • Knowledge of admissions processes and policies is desirable
  • Significant demonstrable administrative experience
  • Experience of working in a busy office environment providing support to prospective students (enquirers and applicants) and applicants
  • Ability to use range of Microsoft Office applications and other systems/communication tools/channels as required
  • Experience of working within an HE context, and /or on a front-line customer service team, is desirable
