The opportunity

Unlock your potential with a Technical Assistant Apprenticeship at UAL!

Are you looking to kickstart your career in the interesting world of engineering and maintenance? UAL is offering an incredible opportunity to become a Technical Assistant Apprentice (Mechanic) and gain valuable skills while working towards a recognised qualification. You will study the Engineering Operative Level 2 apprenticeship, which will equip you with the knowledge, expertise, and practical experience needed to excel in your role and pave the way for future career progression.

As an apprentice at UAL, you’ll be an essential part of our technical team, working hands-on, supporting the maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment. We provide a comprehensive training programme to help you develop the necessary knowledge, skills, and behaviours. Throughout the apprenticeship, you will work alongside experienced mentors who will guide you every step of the way.

Interviews will take place the week commencing Monday 2 October.

About you

To be eligible for this apprenticeship, you do not need to have any prior engineering qualifications but a genuine interest in engineering and maintenance is essential. Please read the full eligibility criteria which can be found on the FAQ’s of our apprenticeships careers site.

If you have good communication skills, coupled with strong planning, organising, and teamwork skills we encourage you to explore this role further.
