The opportunity

University of the Arts London is seeking a dedicated Resourcing Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis.

Location:

Hybrid –  LCC Elephant and Castle Fixed Term Contract until 30/09/2024

Hybrid – CCW Peckham Road, Fixed Term Contract until 30/09/2024

If you offer good administration skills and experience and are interested in pursuing a career in recruitment or HR, this position offers an exciting route into the world of HR and a great opportunity to further develop yourself at a world leading university.

This is a fixed term contract role, where you will be immersed in the staff recruitment and resourcing process at University of the Arts London (UAL) to attract top talent to the university and retain staff.

You will provide first-class, customer-focused recruitment and administration support as part of our Resourcing Hub, acting as the first point of contact for candidates looking to join UAL and Recruiting Managers looking to hire new staff. You will provide guidance and support right through the entire recruitment process, from initial enquiries right through to onboarding new staff.

Your various responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting right to work checks on new staff
  • Providing pre-arrival information to new staff
  • Maintaining a resource library of interview questions and job descriptions to support recruiting managers
  • Preparing interview packs and arranging interviews with candidates

About you

This position is ideal for individuals with excellent attention to detail and a strong customer focus. You will be happy working both in a team and individually, and will need good organisational skills.

You will be a proficient user of Microsoft Office especially Word, Outlook and Excel with a good knowledge of office administration and prior experience of working in a busy, customer focused environment.
