The opportunity
We’re looking for a Digital Content Officer (0.5 FTE) to support London College of Communication (LCC) and UAL with online showcasing activities.
Key responsibilities:
- Promote the benefits of online showcasing to students and colleagues through presentations, meetings, and events.
- Deliver excellent customer service and support students to upload their work.
- Oversee the timely review, approval, and publication of student projects.
- Train colleagues and Arts Temps on how to use the content management system (CMS).
- Lead on the curation of themed, College-specific collections of student work.
- Help to maintain and update content on the Showcase website and contribute to its continuous improvement.
This is a hybrid role. Although dedicated to LCC, you’ll collaborate closely with Digital Content Officers across UAL, sharing best practices and providing mutual support during peak periods.
Your profile
You’ll bring enthusiasm and expertise across a variety of digital platforms. In this role, your remit will include reviewing and editing student content for both the UAL Showcase and Portfolio websites, so a sharp eye for detail and strong copywriting skills are essential.
A confident communicator, you’ll be responsible for building positive relationships with students, course leaders, and colleagues across UAL. You’ll also support team members with the use of our CMS.
A strong interest in the creative industries and an enthusiasm to support the career progression and ongoing success of UAL’s graduates is a must.
