The opportunity
If you offer experience of working in recruitment and staffing administration, this position offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of a professional recruitment administration service for the Creative Computing Institute at University of the Arts London (UAL).
You will be responsible for the recruitment process of all staff, overseeing procedures relating to staff eligibility to work and safeguarding, and managing the induction and staff development programme.
You will also oversee the administration of contracts for hourly paid lecturers and visiting practitioners at the college, as well as provide advice and guidance to recruiting managers and colleagues on all recruitment, selection and on-boarding issues with staff.
Your profile
You will be educated to GCSE level or equivalent with relevant recruitment experience and preferably hold a CIPD Level 3 certificate.
An awareness of relevant legislation regarding staff recruitment is essential, as is experience of using MS Office; Word, Excel, Access and Visio; Intranet/Internet; HR systems (preferably Midland HR iTrent); and applicant tracking systems.
Experience of advising line managers on administrative staffing matters, including recruitment and payroll is equally important.
