The opportunity
*Note*: due to high volume of applicants, we may close the vacancy earlier than the closing date. Please apply at your earliest convenience.
Join the vibrant and dynamic environment of Central Saint Martins as a key member of our School Operations team. Reporting to the School Operations Manager, you’ll play a central role in supporting one of the School’s Deans—ensuring their schedule, projects, and priorities run smoothly and effectively.
This is a varied and fast-paced role that will see you managing complex diaries, coordinating high-level meetings and events, preparing communications, and acting as a key liaison across internal teams and external partners. You’ll also contribute to the running of School-wide initiatives—maintaining project trackers, supporting financial and administrative activities, and driving progress on institutional priorities.
You’ll be part of a collaborative team that supports leadership across the School and wider College. From producing polished reports and presentations to managing travel, hospitality, and day-to-day operations, your work will make a real difference to how the School functions.
Your profile
*Note*: Please provide any additional information that supports your application in the Further Information section (500 words). This may include relevant experiences, skills, achievements, or anything not covered elsewhere in your application that you feel strengthens your suitability for the role
You’re a proactive and organised administrator with a sharp eye for detail and a talent for juggling competing priorities. With strong experience using Microsoft Office and confident minute-taking skills, you thrive in busy environments and are comfortable managing high-level diaries and communications.
You’re a natural communicator—both written and verbal—with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences in an inclusive and accessible way. You enjoy working across teams, using your initiative to solve problems and improve processes, and you understand the importance of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
Experience in event coordination, customer-focused roles, or the higher education sector will serve you well, but what really sets you apart is your collaborative mindset and commitment to enhancing the staff and student experience.
