The opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced communications professional to play a pivotal role within the Outreach team at University of the Arts London (UAL).
UAL Insights is the University’s outreach programme, offering young people access to our Colleges for creative activities and pre-university advice. As Outreach Communications and Content Manager, you will help communicate the story and values of the Insights programme to prospective students by developing a coherent, engaging and inclusive digital and print portfolio.
You will manage communications for the Outreach team and will assume responsibility for the key messaging framework, ensuring that all digital and print channels are aligned with the UAL brand guidelines. You will also create and manage content that will promote the University to prospective students from underrepresented backgrounds, as well as to a network of partners including schools, colleges and cultural organisations.
About you
Educated to degree level, you will demonstrate knowledge of effective approaches to widening participation in arts, design and communication at Further and Higher Education through digital and print channels.
You will also need experience of delivering digital and print resources to young people and managing communications for a team. You will pair this with excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills, along with the ability to suggest practical solutions to new or unique problems.
