The opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, customer-focused administrator, with an interest in data management, to play a key role helping to make creative education more accessible to people around the world.
As International Data and Projects Administrator you will be based in the Academic Enterprise International department, which focuses on specialist education courses for the international market.
You will be responsible for administering programmes attended by Academic Enterprise International students from all over the world, ensuring that student needs are met by delivering high levels of service in the areas of systems for admissions, enrolments and records of study.
You will have a specific focus on maintaining relevant Academic Enterprise International databases and dashboards as well as generating and circulating reports, ensuring that data is correct and stored in a secure way. You will also support developers to design and implement new features and troubleshoot any issues identified in new or current systems.
There will also be the opportunity to administer projects emerging from the Academic Enterprise International portfolio.
In addition, you will administer the application and enrolment process for the Academic Enterprise International programmes at UAL. This will involve responding promptly and efficiently to enquiries from prospective students, encouraging enquirers to apply, and providing advice and guidance to ensure their application best fits their selected course.
About you
To be considered for this role, you will:
- Be educated to degree level or possess relevant professional experience
- Be a confident database/dashboard user (including report generation, management and troubleshooting)
- Have a high level of competency in MS Office
- Have previous experience of project administration and student advice in an academic environment
- Have a strong customer service focus, and interest in art and design education
- Have experience of international education, or work in this field
