The opportunity
University of the Arts London is seeking to appoint a Strategy Manager to play a pivotal part in delivering our ambitious strategic agenda.
UAL is now at the start of a pioneering and exciting new strategic journey, “‘Why the World needs Creativity’” that seeks to change the world through creative endeavour. Social purpose is core to the strategy and is embedded in everything we do.
As a Strategy Manager, you will hold a pivotal role in helping our Executive Board make strategic decisions, working collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to implement and manage the necessary changes. Your contribution will be instrumental in ensuring alignment, guidance, and a clear vision for every individual at UAL.
Your responsibilities will include providing strategic support to senior leaders throughout the organisation and collaborating closely with our Planning and Data teams to develop and successfully execute data-driven strategic initiatives. In addition, you will play a vital role in identifying potential risks and formulating strategies to effectively manage them, such as exploring international diversification of our student base or considering the impact of AI on UAL.
About you
To excel in this role, you should have significant experience in strategy consultancy, in-house strategy, strategic planning, or related roles. We are looking for an individual who thrives in a dynamic, fast paced environment and excels in analytical and structured thinking. A critical aspect of this role involves building strong relationships with stakeholders, both within and beyond the university. Proficiency in data analysis and familiarity with the higher education sector would be advantageous.
Embark on a career where you get to influence the transformation of a major institution and help drive greater creativity into the world.
If you have any queries about this role or need any reasonable adjustments for your application, please contact Leila Farrance, Resourcing Adviser via email USGstaffrecruitment@arts.ac.uk.
