The opportunity
The UAL Creative Computing Institute seeks an experienced individual to lead the MRes in Creative Computing course, provide proactive academic teaching, curriculum development and scholarships within the UAL Creative Computing Institute. If you are an interdisciplinary academic, experienced in academic leadership and course management and with skills in the creative computing field, this role offers a fantastic platform to develop your career.
The post-holder will be expected to:
- Hold a PhD in a relevant Creative Computing field is essential. Have demonstrable experience in teaching and assessment in Higher Education and Have a relevant and interesting track record of professional and or academic practice across teaching and research in Creative Computing.
- Have experience of course or curriculum leadership and management in an area of practice or study related to creative computing at HE level.
About you

- PhD in Creative Computing or associated subject is essential
- Experience of course or curriculum leadership and management in an area of practice or study related to creative computing at HE level.
- Considers equality, diversity and inclusivity in all aspects of teaching and assessment and student experiences within a course.
- Motivates and leads a team effectively, setting clear objectives to manage performance.
- Evidence of research, knowledge exchange and/ or professional practice that contributes to the advancement of Creative Computing activity and is relevant to the goals of the Programme, College and University.
- Significant knowledge of a specialism relevant to the mission of the Creative Computing Institute in Human Computer Interaction, Creative AI and Digital Platforms, including areas of creative coding, physical computing, computational technologies and platforms, and VR/XR and other related disciplines.
- Plans, prioritises and manages resources effectively to achieve objectives.
