The opportunity
This is an exciting time for London College of Fashion as we grow our Technical Production team to support our expanding Cultural Programme, preparing for the move to our new single site home on Stratford’s East Bank in September 2023. LCF’s new East Bank Campus includes three publicly accessible floors with showcasing spaces throughout, located along side new partners including, V&A, BBC, Sadler’s Wells and UCL.
The purpose of the role is to work closely with the Technical Production team on the delivery of our Cultural Programme, which includes large scale exhibitions, catwalks, performances and other creative outputs, which promotes the college, its students, graduates, and industry collaborations to local, UK wide and international audiences.
About you
The position requires someone who has experience of being an all-round Technician in a creative context with a gallery/museum background and a broad set of skills in both physical and digital fields. The post holder will support the technical aspects of projects, with a focus on production, installs and deinstalls. Demonstrating excellent practical skills, initiative and problem solving throughout, with a positive enabling approach.
