The opportunity
In this role, you will participate in talks and conduct arts and design workshops for young people aged 15yrs+ for the Insights Spring/Summer/Autumn-Winter Schools and possible Saturday Clubs.
You will also be responsible for possible one to one tutorials.
About you
The successful candidate will possess:
Tech Skills:
– Knowledge of basic design principles, typography and layout.
Portfolio & Experience:
– Experience in creating art and design projects with a portfolio of their work to showcase their skills.
Communication:
– Able to communicate with young people effectively, to understand their strengths, weaknesses and learning styles and able to provide constructive feedback to motivate improvement.
Teaching Skills:
– Have experience in teaching students of different skill levels and the ability to break down complex concepts into simple easy to understand sessions.
Passion:
– Should be able to inspire and engage young people and create a positive learning environment that encourages creativity and experimentation.
