The opportunity

The opportunity

University of the Arts London (UAL) is seeking a Digital & Technology Supplier Relationship Manager to maximise the value of our technology investments and build effective, strategic partnerships with our third-party suppliers.

Joining our Digital and Technology Portfolio team, you will lead strategic supplier management, support complex procurement and contract negotiations, and drive improvements in vendor performance, risk management and value for money.

Working in partnership with Procurement, Finance, Solution Architects and D&T Service teams, you will influence purchasing decisions, ensure contracts align with UAL's priorities and identify opportunities to improve how we manage our technology supplier portfolio. You will also contribute to contract lifecycle management, renewal planning and continuous improvement across the department.

This is an opportunity for a commercially minded technology professional to use their expertise to strengthen supplier performance, improve operational outcomes and make the most of UAL's technology spend.

Your profile

About you

With a background in digital and technology procurement, contract management or supplier relationships, you’ll bring the commercial insight to navigate complex negotiations, challenge supplier performance and ensure contracts deliver genuine value.

You’ll have experience managing technology contracts from procurement and tendering through to ongoing performance and renewal, with an understanding of services such as SaaS, software licensing, CRM, hosting, technology hardware or digital consultancy. You’re confident reviewing complex agreements, identifying risks and resolving supplier issues, with the judgement to balance commercial priorities with security, information governance and organisational needs.

You’ll be comfortable working across teams, partnering with Procurement, Finance and technology specialists to improve contract management and secure the best possible outcomes from supplier relationships. Experience of working in a complex organisation is essential, while professional qualifications in procurement, contract management, IT Asset Management (ITAM) and/or ITIL would be an advantage.
