The opportunity

Join our Awards Team and play an important role in supporting students and graduates throughout their academic journey. You’ll be responsible for responding to enquiries, producing certificates and academic documents, and ensuring students receive a professional and timely service.

You’ll work closely with students, university staff and colleagues across the University, using systems such as Salesforce to manage enquiries and requests. You’ll also help maintain awards records, support improvements to systems and processes, and contribute to the smooth running of our annual graduation ceremonies.

The role offers a varied workload throughout the academic year, with opportunities to support wider Academic Registry activities during key periods. You’ll need excellent attention to detail, strong organisational and communication skills, and a commitment to providing a positive student experience.

Your profile

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with students, colleagues and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
  • A collaborative approach to teamwork, working effectively with colleagues and different professional groups.
  • A commitment to excellent student and customer service, responding positively and promptly to queries.
  • Good problem-solving skills and initiative, with the ability to identify solutions and respond effectively to challenges.
  • Knowledge of the SITS system would be desirable, but is not essential.
