The opportunity

We are looking for an inspiring Higher Education teacher, with an undergraduate degree in a PCID subject. You will work collaboratively across the PCID team, deploying specialist expertise to develop pedagogy and the curriculum in innovative and critical directions. Experienced in academic delivery, supplemented by practice, you will also take a lead role in co-ordinating ongoing quality improvement and enhancement across the PCID Programme, and in shaping and influencing the future direction of the PCID Programme and Courses. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an inclusive approach to curriculum development and delivery.

Key projects will include working with course leaders on course redesign and development including preparing for reapproval, and the implementation of reapproved courses.

Your profile

Higher Education teacher, with undergraduate degree in a PCID subject.

We are looking for someone who communicates effectively.

They will have experience of motivating and leading teams effectively, promoting the values of equality, diversity and inclusion. Their experience of management in a Higher Education environment will include the maintenance and enhancement of standards. (Eg. leading a stage, unit or course).

They will have relevant research, teaching, knowledge exchange and/or professional practice.

They will always considers equality, diversity and inclusivity in teaching and assessment.

They prioritise and manage resources effectively to achieve short-term and long-term objectives.

Teamwork

They show commitment to understanding the range of students’ experiences within the programme by building and maintaining positive relationships with students.

They will have experience of leading projects with partners and diverse participants (essential) and are creative problem solvers.
