The opportunity

To provide support for student learning, informal and formal training and instruction and the development of proficiency with highly specialist techniques, production methods and technology, covering areas of 3D digital fabrication. Day to day the job covers operating CNC milling machines and supporting student file development and set up for this technology as well as 3D print, laser cutting, object scanning and 3D modelling.

Your profile

Essential: A degree or an equivalent professional qualification in 3D digital design or demonstrable professional industry experience in 3D digital design and manufacture plus educational delivery and/or training. Demonstrable experience in operating CNC Milling machines. Proficiency with the Roland SRP player set-up. Hands on experience in Rhino 3D modelling. 

Desirable: Experience with FDM, SLA and polyjet 3D printing, laser cutting, Adobe illustrator, Bambu Studio and Preform softwares.
