You will work closely with other academic staff, including the Programme Director and Course Leader.

Your profile

We are seeking a talented Concept Artist to assist us in the teaching of several 2D concept units offered as part of the BA Games Art Program. You will primarily be responsible for teaching foundational concept art practices, pipelines, theory and software’s to 1st year student groups. Alongside this there will be an opportunity to either teach 2nd year concept students, or to lead 3rd year 2D Final Major Project groups in their key portfolio projects.

We are seeking an experienced artist who ideally has a range of concept arts expertise, and in studio experience delivering tangible outcome in 2D in a range of styles. The perfect candidate will be able to teach all current industry workflows for concept art, such as 3D-to-2D workflows, Photo Bashing, speed painting, Iteration, alongside traditional arts theory, and creative practice, and will be fluent in a range of 2D and 3D software packages.
