The opportunity

The Development Officer (Partnerships) will work closely with the Head of Partnerships and the Partnerships and Stewardship Manager to deliver essential administrative and operational support across the Partnership team’s activities, with a particular focus on donor stewardship and gift administration. 

You will also manage a small portfolio of prospects and donors and proactively reach out to brands and organisations to engage them with partnership opportunities at UAL.

This is an important role for a highly motivated, organised fundraiser with exceptional attention to detail and a genuine commitment to advancing UAL’s strategic aims. The role is based in the Development & Alumni Relations team at UAL, which is responsible for the cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of principal gifts, major gifts, trusts and foundations and corporate donors

Your profile

Experience, knowledge and qualifications

  • Minimum two years’ experience in partnerships administration and stewardship.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of partners and soliciting gifts from corporate organisations (Essential).
  • High competency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and a willingness to learn new systems and software.
  • Experience using donor management databases (e.g., Raiser’s Edge), with a proven track record of accurately entering and maintaining large volumes of data (desirable).
