The opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced communications professional to play a pivotal role within the Outreach team at University of the Arts London (UAL).
UAL Insights is the University’s outreach programme, offering young people access to our Colleges for creative activities and pre-university advice. As Outreach Communications and Content Manager, you will help communicate the story and values of the Insights programme to prospective students and teachers by developing a coherent, engaging and inclusive digital and print portfolio.
You will manage communications for the UAL Outreach team but also report into the wider professional UAL Communications department at UAL. You will assume responsibility for the key messaging framework and contribute to a dynamic, inclusive and innovative social purpose strategy. You will also create and manage content that will promote the University to prospective students from underrepresented backgrounds, as well as to a network of partners including schools, colleges and cultural organisations.
Your profile
Educated to degree level in communications related field or equivalent professional experience gained in managing digital content, social media platforms, editoral and engagement, preferably within a large organisation or educational institution.
You will also need experience of planning and executing communications to champion diversity and inclusion.
